What has not been released
Any engineering interpretation, risk assessment, or conclusions explaining what the geotechnical data means for safety.
Any staff reports or briefing memos showing how this data was reviewed, summarized, or used in decision making.
Any documents showing Council discussion of the geotechnical findings.
FOI status
Village staff have decided the remaining records can be released.
Release is currently delayed due to third party review rights and potential review by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
If no review is requested, additional documents may be released after March 12, 2026.
Why this matters
Residents can see raw data, but not how that data informed decisions about flood risk, infrastructure, or public safety. If residents would like a copy of the documents that have already been released to me, you can email me and I will share what I am legally able to provide. Documents that are still under third party review cannot be shared at this time.
